Undyed 100% silk natural yarn "Ailsa" in a 100 gram (3.5 ounce) skein (over 1000 metres or over 1,090 yards). This yarn has an amazing shine to it, and is amazingly smooth .It would make a wonderful bridal shawl and would have very vivid colours when dyed with acid dyes, Kool-aid, or food colouring.

* Lace weight 2/20 nM.

* This yarn is a natural silk white that is slightly off white.

* Ailsa has an amazing drape, and will make very elegant shawls and scarves.

* The wool is handwash only, or dry clean and should be dried flat.
