Roma is Yarn Workshop's superfine merino cobweb weight yarn. It is spun in Italy by Zegna Baruffa for us, and is absolutely gorgeous. This is a 100 % merino that really does feel like cashmere, and people who have felt this yarn continue to ask if there is any cashmere in it. Dye saturates it brilliantly, and the knitted fabric has a
beautiful hand.
Roma will felt, and should only be
handwashed in luke warm water and dried flat. These skeins are massive, and weigh 250 grams or over 8 ounces. Each skein has 3750 metres of yarn, or over 4,100 yards, and you will have sufficient for the largest lace project. This yarn offers exceptional value for money.
