Bellingen is our softest worsted weight 100% wool yarn, and has a wonderful sheen as a result of its Basolan treatment.  It is a heavier worsted weight and knits to the same gauge as Malabrigo worsted, and can be substituted for it. Gauge 16-18 stitches per 10cm (4 ") on 4.5mm - 5.5mm needles (US 7-9).  163 metres per skein or over 172 yards per skein.

 

* It has an anti-felt treatment, and can be machine washed on the gentle cycle at 30 degrees centigrade and dried flat.
