Forbes - 100% wool worsted weight feltable yarn cone
You asked for a feltable worsted weight wool, and we were happy to oblige. Forbes is our workshorse 100% wool yarn that is suprisingly soft. It can be used for sweaters, bags, and should be hand washed only, and dried flat.
It felts like a dream and knits to a classic worsted wool gauge. It can be substituted for any patterns calling for Cascade 220. 4 ply construction and 18-20 stitches per 10 cm on 4.5 mm - 5 mm needles (US sizes 7 -8). 2000 metres per kg, or 2200 yards per 2.2 pound cone.
